Theft and False Accusation
Ver. June 2013/AG/MW
1-The burden of false accusation
Flew in my direction, but silent,
Unspoken, heavy and grave,
At the time never reaching my ears.
2-For long I could not defend myself
Through lack of Knowledge of it, or
Of events that caused suspicion,
It weighed on my shoulders heavily.
3-Silence reigned and
No one had kindness to tell me truth,
But for my mother’s faithful love
I lived in constant dejection.
4-I thought family anger due to
My choice of living far from my home,
And did not suspect other mishap,
Just thought I had lost the love of some.
5-So the former trust among us
Became instead so strained,
Caused by thieves too close to us
With their lies for personal gain.
6-In the year of my mother’s death
I was informed of accusation,
And swiftly confronted my father,
To whom I expressed my innocence .
7-My suspicions were aroused when told
To forget this story. But no!
I continued to search for proof;
It became an endless, ceaseless
8-At last I found good evidence,
dead, cannot see it.
His goods never attained their goal,
Were strayed at source, stolen near home.
9-Here I talk of a mystery,
And further try to clean my name,
words that point at culprits shamed,
So that I now can live in peace.
my brother; can you hear me?
The villains are out there, still close,
I will never stop protesting
I was a victim of this plot.
